It depends on the product and the level of customisation. Neutral products can start from sample quantities, OEM branding typically begins around the pilot batch level, and full ODM programmes need enough volume to amortise tooling. Tell us your target volume and we will confirm what is realistic.

We build fully branded Android applications — your icon, splash screen, interface and measurement workflow — and package them for your distribution channel. iOS, Windows, macOS and Web clients are available from the same imaging core, and we can also deliver an SDK if your own team prefers to build the UI.
Yes, and for many integrators this is the preferred route. We expose device control, streaming, still capture and the measurement engine as documented APIs so your developers can embed the imaging functionality directly inside your existing product.
Image tuning is one of our core services. Send us sample images along with the sensor or module information and we will assess what can be improved — exposure and white balance behaviour, noise, sharpening, colour reproduction or glare from reflective surfaces. In many cases a polariser and a revised ISP parameter set transform the result.
Our platforms ship with CE, FCC and RoHS documentation as standard. If your market requires additional approvals — for example medical device registration for a dermatoscope, or specific regional EMC requirements — raise it during the enquiry and we will review what is achievable and who is responsible for which part.
Branding-only changes (logo, packaging, splash screen, default parameters) are the fastest route. Firmware and application development take longer and are scheduled against agreed milestones. We will give you a specific timeline once the scope is agreed rather than a vague estimate now.
Absolutely. For serious projects we are happy to run a video call where we can demonstrate a device live on camera and show the imaging output — often more convincing than a datasheet. Sample units can also be arranged for evaluation.
Software ownership is agreed in the contract and documented explicitly. Options include full transfer of the custom application IP to you, a perpetual licence, or source escrow arrangements. Discuss your requirement with us early and we will structure the agreement accordingly — we would rather define it up front than argue later.
